Show off your success
With the Mystery Hike you will receive a photo of your route, which you can frame. The package also includes a sticker with the completion of the challenge, which you can stick to the map after completion and confirm your success. A souvenir for a lifetime!
Letter
A personalized letter with a message from the donor or the Adventurer team, which will, among other things, begin your story. Here you will find access to your profile in the Adventurer app, a preview of your location, and other goodies.
The Adventurer app and the challenge to the next adventure
The package also includes a profile in the Adventurer app, which will guide you through the entire route, and you will receive a challenge card that will allow you to challenge another friend or loved one to the next Mystery Hike!
Mystery card
This card lands in your hands first. It introduces you to the Mystery Hike concept and you use a beautiful brass coin to scratch it to reveal your location. Then you start unwrapping the package, gradually revealing more information and story snippets. You will then find a comprehensive itinerary in the app.
Then keep the coin. Each coin represents one completed Mystery Hike!

2. Unpack the package
Mysterious envelope full of surprises
Take the mystery package and reveal your challenge destination. Will it be a hike in your state or a mountain in the majestic Alps?
You can give the Mystery Hike as a gift or challenge yourself. The pack contains a letter with instructions, a commemorative map and coin, a sticker to complete the challenge and a card hiding your destination location.
3. Gradually reveal your goal

Mystery Hike includes a collectible coin, which you use to wipe off the scratch-off sticker that covers your target location. This reveals the first clue before you even open the envelope.
Keep the coin safe! Each individual coin represents one Mystery Hike completed.
4. Open a route in the app
Access to the Adventurer app
The contents of the envelope will guide you to the Adventurer app, where your Mystery Hike will be visualized. The app will make it a real experience!
The Adventurer app will guide you through the route, tell you the story and help you with the equipment. You will find a complete itinerary. In the welcome letter, you will receive information about your login details.
5. Live your story to the fullest
Unique story
The whole experience will be enhanced by a story that starts in the letter you receive, continues in the app, and then you'll live it yourself as you hit the route.
You also have the option to include a personalised message with the gift, which will be given to the recipient when they unwrap Mystery Hike.
6. Go and complete the challenge
Mountains, forests, plains...
Now you know where your feet will take you. Don't wait for anything! Plan a date, pack your backpack, charge your phone and go exploring. It's going to be an epic experience!
Once you've completed the route, don't forget to seal your success at home by sticking a "Challenge Completed" sticker on the challenge map, which you can then frame and display as a keepsake.

I chose medium difficulty because I like hiking, but I didn't want anything extreme. I would say the route was harder than medium difficulty :D, that's why 4 stars. Adventurer Mystery Hike specifications
We prepare routes with an emphasis on experiences and the quality of the overall design. We cooperate with dozens of travelers who help us collect data from the terrain and prepare routes.
We do Mystery Hikes in areas that we are well-known to. Our ambition is to continue to expand these areas so that one day you can choose your own unexpected routes from all over Europe!
Mystery Hike will be yours only - we prepare the routes to be unique. So the route you receive will not be found in the public database of our application, but only on your profile, and even if it passes through well-known locations, it will differ in its direction, execution, story or visualization or other iteration. You will get your own unique piece!
Materials - the contents are shipped in a premium cardboard envelope with string binding. The contents of the package are printed on special 400g paper and the coin is made of high-quality brass.
The route is then visualized in the popular application for planning outdoor activities and route orientation, Adventurer.

We ship within 3 business days. Mystery Hike takes some time to create. All routes are prepared by our team manually, we want to give you a top experience!

Return of goods
Physical Product Returns: If you have received a physical Mystery Hike package and wish to return it, you may do so within 14 days of delivery. The product must be undamaged, complete and in its original packaging. Once received and inspected, we will refund your money back to your account. This is a custom package. Once the contents have been damaged in any way, it cannot be returned.
Digital Products: Due to the nature of digital Mystery Hikes, returns or exchanges are not possible once they have been sent and activated in the app. If you experience any technical issues, please contact us to resolve the situation.
Order Cancellation: If you decide to cancel your order before it has shipped, please contact our customer service as soon as possible. For digital orders that have not yet shipped, a full refund is available.
Complaints and exchanges: If there is damage or an error during delivery, contact us immediately and we will arrange for a correction.
Exceptions: Refunds cannot be given for already revealed routes, unpacked packages (unless damaged), or for personalization services if they have already been performed.

Frequently asked questions
What if I already have a profile created in the Adventurer app?
If you already have a profile created in the app, we will assign Mystery Hike to it. Don't forget to include the profile name and the email address you registered with in the app when ordering.
If you are gifting Mystery Hike to someone and the recipient already has a profile, you can tell us in the note what day you want us to pin Mystery Hike to their profile so that it appears there at the right moment.
Why are there only a limited number of countries to choose from?
For now, we only offer selected countries, where we have a good understanding of the situation and can prepare a great experience for you. We will gradually expand the countries.
Is it necessary to complete the Mystery Hike immediately?
No. It's up to you when you decide to complete your Mystery Hike. Once you do, you can confirm it by putting a sticker on your Mystery Hike map.
Can I do the Mystery Hike in a group or with a friend?
Of course! :) Go on an adventure with your friends and enjoy it to the fullest all together! Grab the app and become the leader of the group.
How difficult is it? Can everyone do the Mystery Hike?
It depends on the difficulty level and type of route you choose in the order form. You can set your Mystery Hike requirements to a leisurely hike, a challenging route, or a demanding hike that will make you sweat a lot.
However, if you do not indicate in the form that you want to be part of the via ferrata route, your only obstacle will be your physical fitness and determination. Technically, anyone can conquer the route.
More challenging routes may contain exposed sections.
What is the difference between the digital and printed version?
The versions differ in content and delivery method. The digital version comes to you by email and you have to print certain components yourself, while the printed version comes to you by mail and in premium materials.

What about accommodation on multi-day routes?
The Adventurer app will offer you accommodation around your route, which you can then book (it is part of your itinerary). This accommodation will be processed directly on your Mystery Hike card in the Accommodation section, where you can also view it on the map and see where it is located within your route.
We will also note key accommodations in the description and on the Mystery Hike map.
Some routes are climbed with overnight stays in mountain huts or under a tent.
What about transportation to the start of the Mystery Hike?
You will have a car icon in the top right corner of your Mystery Hike in the app. When you click on this icon, a map will automatically open with the route to get to the start by car.
Depending on the location of the Mystery Hike itself, you can also plan your travel to the location by train or bus.
