When ordering, you choose basic requirements, such as route difficulty, state, etc. We will then prepare a unique Mystery Hike with a story that will arrive in the mail in a unique package, where you will gradually reveal where you will go. An experience of a lifetime.
Reveal the location and open the route in the Adventurer app
We will visualize and prepare your Mystery Hike in the Adventurer app, which will guide you through the entire route and story.
Go explore and complete the challenge
Pack your things, grab the app and hit the road. After completing the route, don't forget to attach a sticker and confirm the challenge. Will this be your first hike or perhaps a 2,000m hike?

Show off your success
With the Mystery Hike you will receive a photo of your route, which you can frame. The package also includes a sticker with the completion of the challenge, which you can stick to the map after completion and confirm your success. A souvenir for a lifetime!
Letter
A personalized letter with a message from the donor or the Adventurer team, which will, among other things, begin your story. Here you will find access to your profile in the Adventurer app, a preview of your location, and other goodies.
Mystery card
This card lands in your hands first. It introduces you to the Mystery Hike concept and you use a beautiful brass coin to scratch it to reveal your location. Then you start unwrapping the package, gradually revealing more information and story snippets. You will then find a comprehensive itinerary in the app.
Then keep the coin. Each coin represents one completed Mystery Hike!
The Adventurer app and the challenge to the next adventure
The package also includes a profile in the Adventurer app, which will guide you through the entire route, and you will receive a challenge card that will allow you to challenge another friend or loved one to the next Mystery Hike!

Frequently asked questions
What if I already have a profile created in the Adventurer app?
If you already have a profile created in the app, we will assign Mystery Hike to it. Don't forget to include the profile name and the email address you registered with in the app when ordering.
If you are gifting Mystery Hike to someone and the recipient already has a profile, you can tell us in the note what day you want us to pin Mystery Hike to their profile so that it appears there at the right moment.
Why are there only a limited number of countries to choose from?
For now, we only offer selected countries, where we have a good understanding of the situation and can prepare a great experience for you. We will gradually expand the countries.
Is it necessary to complete the Mystery Hike immediately?
No. It's up to you when you decide to complete your Mystery Hike. Once you do, you can confirm it by putting a sticker on your Mystery Hike map.
Can I do the Mystery Hike in a group or with a friend?
Of course! :) Go on an adventure with your friends and enjoy it to the fullest all together! Grab the app and become the leader of the group.
How difficult is the Mystery hike? Can everyone do it?
It depends on the difficulty level and type of route you choose in the order form. You can set your Mystery Hike requirements to a leisurely hike, a challenging route, or a demanding hike that will make you sweat a lot.
However, if you do not indicate in the form that you want to be part of the via ferrata route, your only obstacle will be your physical fitness and determination. Technically, anyone can conquer the route.
More challenging routes may contain exposed sections.
What is the difference between the digital and printed version?
The versions differ in content and delivery method. The digital version comes to you by email and you have to print certain components yourself, while the printed version comes to you by mail and in premium materials.

What about accommodation on multi-day routes?
The Adventurer app will offer you accommodation around your route, which you can then book (it is part of your itinerary). This accommodation will be processed directly on your Mystery Hike card in the Accommodation section, where you can also view it on the map and see where it is located within your route.
We will also note key accommodations in the description and on the Mystery Hike map.
Some routes are climbed with overnight stays in mountain huts or under a tent.
What about transportation to the start of the Mystery Hike?
You will have a car icon in the top right corner of your Mystery Hike in the app. When you click on this icon, a map will automatically open with the route to get to the start by car.
Depending on the location of the Mystery Hike itself, you can also plan your travel to the location by train or bus.
